Washington University's Skandalaris Center for Entrepreneurial Studies
- Who's Eligible
Open to everyone, including Washington University (St. Louis) students, faculty, and staff from all schools and degree programs, as well as community entrepreneurs around the world.
- Important Dates
Executive summaries are due on January 3, 2012. Full business pans are due on March 20, 2012. Finalists will present their business plans on April 4, 2011, and winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on April 11, 2012.
- Competition Prizes
This year, awards are expected to reach a total of at least $125,000. Specific awards include:
- $35,000 YouthBridge Award
- $30,000 Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis Award
- $30,000 Daughters of Charity Foundation of St. Louis Award
- $25,000 Skandalaris Award
- Other Info
Throughout the competition, judges evaluate the teams and provide both oral and written feedback on the four deliverables: the executive summary, the elevator pitch, the written plan, and the final presentation.
