Open to Wisconsin residents at least 18 years of age who have a business plan that employs or leverages technology. Businesses must either be Wisconsin-based or planned to be located in Wisconsin.
Entries must fall into one of the following categories: Advanced Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Information Technology, or Business Services.
- Important Dates
Phase 1 Idea Abstracts must be submitted by all participating teams by January 31, 2012. The top 50 teams must submit an executive summary by February 24, 2012. Twenty teams will be selected to advance and must submit a 20-page business plan by April 30, 2012. After reviewing the plans, judges will select three winners from each category to advance to the final phase. Finalists will give 7-minute presentations at the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs' Conference on June 5-6 2012, before judges determine the grand prize winner.

Finalists will share in $100,000 in seed capital and in-kind services.

This contest engages participants in a six-month process that includes mentoring and feedback from judges.
