- Who's Eligible
- Entrepreneurs who are starting for-profit firms that have a integrated social and/or environmental sustainability into their financial viability. The business must either not have started yet, or be in start-up phase, which we currently define as either not launched yet, or less than two years from your first revenues.
- Important Dates
Five page executive summaries should be submitted by September 10, 2010. Selected teams must submit their full business plan by January 14, 2011. The final, presentation round of the competition will take place in April of 2011.
- Competition Prizes
At least $10,000 and cash and $100,000 worth of in-kind prizes will be divided amongst the top teams in the Overall Social Responsibility category. Cash and in-kind prizes totaling over $100,000 will also be distributed to the top teams in a number of other categories.
- Other Info
Teams can submit executive summaries by one of two alternative deadlines - September 10, 2010 December 3, 2010. All teams will be judged against each other, no matter which deadline they choose, however the advantage to submitting summaries by the earlier deadline is receiving feedback sooner.
