Who's Eligible

Participation in the Venture Labs Investment Competition is through an invitation to the university or by winning one of the participatingcompetitions.

 
This is a competition for graduate students, and at least one graduate student must be a member of the venture’s startup management team.
Important Dates

One-page executive summaries are due by April 15, 2011. The final Venture Labs Investment Competition will take place on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin on May 4 - 7, 2011.

Competition Prizes

Global Champion receives $135,000 in cash, and $110,000 worth of in-kind services.

1st runner up will receive $5,000 in cash

Other finalists will receive $3,000 in cash

Semifinalists will receive $2,000 in cash

Venture Labs Investment Competition (formerly Moot Corp) is the premier world-wide investment competition hosted annually at the University of Texas at Austin.
