University of Utah Pierre Lassonde Entrepreneur Center

Teams must have at least one college or university student as a member. Each team must be organized and directed by a student registered for at least 9 credit hours at a college or university in the State of Utah.

Team registration forms and executive summaries are due on February 1, 2012. The top 30 teams will be announced on February 6, 2012, and must submit full business plans by March 1, 2012. The 10 teams selected as finalists will be announced on March 16, 2012 and will present to the judges on March 31, 2012. An awards banquet will take place on April 12, 2012.

The grand prize winner will receive $40,000. A variety of cash and in-kind service prizes will be awarded to the other winning teams.  A total prize pool of over $100,000 will be awarded.

The Challenge focuses on the development of a full, comprehensive business plan, which will be analyzed and judged by leaders within Utah's business community.
