- Who's Eligible
Anyone can participate in the preliminary elevator pitch and cameo stages of the competition. Finalist teams, however, must have at least one currently enrolled University of Dayton student or at least one alumni who has earned a degree from University of Delaware.
- Important Dates
Registration for this business plan competition opens on September 12, 2011. The deadline to submit applications is October 15, 2011. Following the Elevator Pitch Round on October 29 and the Cameo Round on November 19, finalists will be annound on December 2, 2011. Final business plans must be submitted by February 25, 2012. The final competition will take place at the University of Dayton on March 10, 2012.

1st place: $25,000
2nd place: $15,000
3rd place: $10,000
4th place: $5,000
5th place: $5,000
Cash prizes will also be awarded in the Elevator Pitch and Cameo Rounds.
- Other Info
This competition consists of three stages:
The Elevator Pitch Round, in which entrants make a one minute pitch of their business idea to the judges. 15 entries will advance to the next round.
The Cameo Round, in which semi-finalists will submit a 5-page write up of their buisness and give a 5-minute presentation to the judges. A brief question & answer session will also take place. Following this round, five finalists will advance to the last stage of the competition.
The Finalist Round - In addition to submitting a full business plan, finalists will have 20 minutes to present their plan to the judges. All five finalists will be guaranteed a minimum of $5,000 in prize money.
