- Who's Eligible
At least one member of each team (principal/founder/owner etc) must be a UMaine undergraduate or graduate student. Businesses must be registered in the state of Maine, and must not have prior funding over $50,000.
- Important Dates
The deadline to submit executive summaries is February 17, 2012. Finalists will be selected on February 22, 2012 and must submit their final business plans on April 6, 2012. The finalists will present their plans at the Challenge Pitch Day on April 21, 2012.
- Competition Prizes
1st place winners will receive $5,000 in cash and consulting services.
2nd place will receive $1,000 in cash and consulting services.

This is the first annual business plan competition being hosted at the University of Maine. This competition strives to contribute to the long-term growth of Maine's Economy.
