Who's Eligible

Submitted business models must be an ida for a business from idea stage up to 5 years in operation. Business must have a net worth less than $1 million. 

Applicants must be based in Oklahoma, and agree to establish or expand business operations in the Tulsa metropolitan area if they win. 

Important Dates

First round business models must be submitted by May 14, 2012. After several judging rounds, the top 7 applicants will be notified as finalists on September 4, 2012. They must submit their final business model by October 11, 2012. Finalists will pitch their idea on November 1, 2012. Winners will be announced at the StartUp Cup Ceremony on November 13, 2012

Competition Prizes

First place: $30,000

Second place: $5,000

Third place: $2,500

The Startup Cup is designed to stimulate entrepreneurial activity, grow jobs through startups, and increase awareness of the resources available to grow entrepreneurs in the Tulsa metropolitan area.
