- Who's Eligible
Teams must have actively participating members who are full-time Tufts University graduate or undergraduate students. Alumni, faculty, and staff may also participate on the team.
Teams entering the Social Entrepreneurship Competition should develop ventures that benefit society and promote citizenship.
- Important Dates
Team profiles and business plans must be submitted by January 23, 2012. Finalists will be selected and invited to deliver pitches to the judges during the final round of competition on April 4, 2012.
- Competition Prizes
A total of $100,000 in cash and in-kind services (legal and other advisory services) will be awarded to the winning plans. This money is disbursed in any manner and among as many finalists as the judges deem appropriate.

The competition consists of two separate contests that run concurrently: the Tufts 50K Classic Business Plan Competition and the Tufts 50K Social Entrepreneurship Competition.
