Open to entrepreneurs in Central Texas with a business idea. Competitors can enter in the Small Business Development Track or the Non-Profit Development Track. There is also a Junior Track for those entrepreneurs under the age of 18.
- Important Dates
All Cover pages and business plans are due on September 23, 2011. The top three submissions in each category will be announced at the East Night event on September 29, 2011, and will go on to compete for prizes in the PeoplePitch Competition on October 22, 2011.
- Competition Prizes
In both the Small Business Development Track and the Non-Profit Development Track, the top prize is $2,500 each. The winner of the Junior track will receive $500. Second and third place finishers will also receive a cash prize.
- Other Info
In addition to cash prizes, winning contestants will also receive recognition and promotion through PeopleFund.org, as well as the opportunity to obtain a loan, business counseling, and technical assistance through the Small Business Development Program.
