Who's Eligible

Open to businesses or potential businesses that at a minimum are committed to the State of Indiana, but preferably plan to be operating within the area of Grant, Blackford, and Delaware counties. 

Important Dates

Executive summaries are due on March 5, 2012. Those teams selected as semi-finalists must submit business plans by April 10, 2012. Finalists will be announced on April 25, 2012, and will present their business plans on May 10, 2012. Awards will follow the final presentations.

Competition Prizes

1st place: $7,000

2nd place: $3,000

3rd place: $1,000

Additionally, the top three finishers of the competition will be presented with a forgivable loan if they chose to locate their business within Grant county. The recipients of these loans will pay only interest for the first 5 years before the loan is forgiven, contingent upon the continuation of successful business operations within Grant county. The loans are as follows: 

1st place: $15,000

2nd place: $3,000

3rd place: $1,000
