- Who's Eligible
The $150K Challenge consists of the E-Challenge, and the Social E-Challenge, both of which are run concurrently.Both Challenges are open to all Stanford students, alumni, research and postdoctoral staff, and faculty. The Social E-Challenge is open to nonprofit or for-profit companies that demonstrate scalable business ideas with quantifiable social or environmental impacts.
- Important Dates
The competition has three rounds: 1st round executive summaries are due on February 9, 2011. 2nd round business plans are due on February 23, 2011. Advancing teams will give Final Round presentations on May 18, 2011. Winners will be announced at the BASES end-of-year banquet.
- Competition Prizes
$50,000 prizes will be awarded to the winners of both the E-Challenge and the Social E-Challenge, as well as to the winner of the Product Showcase event.
- Other Info
Teams may enter in both the E Challenge and the Social E -Challenge, but if the venture makes it past the first round of both challenges, the team must choose either the Social E-Challenge or E-Challenge to advance in.
