Who's Eligible

Open to all Southern Methodist University full and part-time students. Each team must have at least one graduate student from the Cox School of Business. Non-SMU students may be members of the team, but only SMU students may present in the competition. 

Important Dates

Executive summaries are due on November 29, 2011. All teams selected as finalists must submit full business plans by January 13, 2012. Finalists will present their business plans to the judges on January 27, 2012. The winner will be selected following the presentations. 

Competition Prizes

Prizes for this year's business plan competition have not been announced. The three past school year's cash and in-kind sponsorships totaled over $50,000. 

Other Info

In the fall, this business plan competition will host several mixers and workshops to help teams formulate their business plan and prepare their presentations.
