Who's Eligible

Open to all individual or team entrants resident in Sonoma, Napa or Marin counties in Northern California. A majority of the team members must meet the residency requirement or the primary business address must be located in this area. 

Teams must have received less than $100,000 in financing in order to be eligible
Important Dates

Executive summaries must be submitted by March 16, 2011. Following the Business Plan Workshop, all teams must submit a full business plan by May 4, 2011. Finalists will present their business plans to the panel of judges at the Seed Round Business Plan Competition final on June 1, 2011.

Competition Prizes

The grand prize winner will receive a package of services valued at $34,000. Cash prizes will also be awarded, the amounts are still to be announced.

The Seed Round Business Plan Competition is co-produced by North Bay iHub partners Sonoma State University School of Business and Economics and the Sonoma Mountain Business Cluster.
