- Who's Eligible
The team leader must be an enrolled student at any college or school at Oklahoma State University, but other members can be non-OSU students or members of the community. Both graduate and undergraduate students are eligible to compete.
- Important Dates
All participating teams must submit an Intent to Compete form by December 17, 2010. Initial business plans are due on March 9, 2011, and final drafts of the business plan must be submitted on March 30, 2011. Semi-final round and final round of competition will take place on April 29 and 30, 2011, respectively. An awards ceremony will follow the final round of competition.
- Competition Prizes
The top 3 winners will receive prize money – totaling around $40,000. An additional $1000 prize for the best technology-based venture is awarded with the support of the OSU Office of Research and Technology Transfer.
- Other Info
This contest consists of a preliminary judging round, after which remaining teams will work to complete a full business plan. The semi-finals and finals of this competition include presentations and question-and-answer sessions before a panel of distinguished judges.
