Who's Eligible

Open to graduate and undergraduate students. At least half of each team should consist of students from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. 

Business plans can be for a product, service, process, or technique. They do not have to be technology-based. 

Important Dates

Intent to Submit forms are due on December 15, 2011. Teams must submit a 2-page business concept by January 27, 2012. A qualifying round will take place on February 7, 2012, during which teams will give a preliminary presentation to the judges. The final round of competition will take place on February 8, 2012. 

Competition Prizes

Over $15,000 in cash and service prizes will be awarded. 

Other Info

Judges will consist of community members, faculty, staff and alumni with varying backgrounds in entrepreneurship and business. Each team will also be judged by a technical judge in the field relating to their submission.
