Who's Eligible

Teams must be currently enrolled graduate or undergraduate Bradley University students. Other outside students or faculty may assist participating teams, but only the team members may produce the business plans and make the oral presentations.

The competition is for new, for-profit, independent ventures in the seed, start-up, or early growth stages.

Important Dates

Teams must file a Letter of Intent to compete by October 5, 2011. Executive summaries must be submitted by December 1, 2011. Those teams chosen as semi-finalists must submit business plans by March 7, 2012. Finalist teams will be notified on March 26, 2012, and will make final presentations on April 23, 2012. Awards will be presented at the recognition dinner following the presentations.

Competition Prizes

Cash prizes are awarded for first, second, and third places. The grand prize is valued at over $100,000.

Other Info

In addition to cash prizes, all finalists may have their business plans considered for equity investment by investors.  The top team may also receive office space, marketing assistance, legal advice, insurance advice, accounting advice, and other assistance by program sponsors.
