- Who's Eligible
- Anyone is eligible to compete in this competition, however, teams must include at least one Washington University (St. Louis) student or alumnus. To be eligible for the student award, at least 51% of the venture must be owned by current Washington University students.
- Important Dates
Executive summaries of the business plan are due via submission at IdeaBounce on October 26,2009. The awards ceremony will take place on February 4, 2010.
- Competition Prizes
Winners of the competition recieve up to $50,000 in investment funds. A student award of $5,000 is also given out to a venture owned by current Washington University students.
- Other Info
This competition is an annual contest held to promote the learning and collaboration necessary in creating a new business venture. Like its sister competition, the Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition, this contest has multiple stages, including the submission of both an executive summary and a full business plan, as well as an elevator pitch and a formal presentation.
