Who's Eligible

Each team must have at least one current Ole Miss undergraduate or graduate student who plays a major role.

Important Dates

Two-page executive summaries are due on February 19, 2012. Finalists will be announced on March 23, 2012, following a semi-final presentation round. Finalist teams will be assigned mentors, and must submit full business plans by April 8, 2012. These teams will compete in the final round of competition on April 20, 2012.

Competition Prizes

1st place: $4,000

2nd place: $2,500

3rd place: $500

In addition, several $500 bonus prizes will be awarded to teams who excel in certain areas:  Best Women's team, Best Sustainable or Green idea, Best Social Entrepreneurship Idea, Best Interdisciplinary team. 

Other Info

The judging panel will consist of entrepreneurs, business executives, faculty members, venture capitalists, investors, or any others deemed fit by the organizers. Participants will be judged on the quality of their executive summary, Business Plan, oral presentation, and the viability of their venture.
