Who's Eligible

Open to start-ups less than 3 years old, as well as early stage growth businesses.
Applicants must be located in the North of Boston/Merrimack Valley area, or must be willing to relocate to that area.

Businesses must have plans to grow by at least 5 full time employees in addition to the founder or existing workforce within three years.

Important Dates

Plan overviews and entry forms are due by January 27, 2012. After attending a business plan writing workshop, entrants must submit their final business plans on February 24, 2012. Finalists will be announced on March 29, 2012, following interviews with the judges. Final presentations will take place at Salem State College on April 9, 2012. 

Competition Prizes

1st place: $5,000
2nd place: $3,000
3rd place: $2,000
