- Who's Eligible
Open to new business ideas, or new products, services or ideas for an exiting business.
Competitors must enter in one of five Pitch Tracks: Scalable Innovation, Sustainability, Main Street, Art & Culture, and Non-Profit.
- Important Dates
The pitch contest takes place during the Juice 3.0 Conference from November 4 & 5, 2011.
During the first round, each participating company will have a 20-minute coaching session with two business professionals. The top 5 companies in each category will be selected by the coaches to move on to the next round.
During the second round, the top 25 companies will make a 10 minute pitch to a panel of judges. Following the pitches, winners of each track will be chosen, and 3 companies will be selected from the Scalable Innovation and Sustainability tracks as finalists.
In the third "shark tank" round, the three finalist companies will each pitch to a group of capital investors. A winner for each of the two tracks will be chosen, and a grand prize winner will also be selected based on these pitches.
- Competition Prizes
The winner of each track will receive $5,000 in cash and services. The ultimate contest winner will be eligible for a $100,000 investment in the form of a convertible note.
- Other Info
Contest is limited to 100 participants. All competitors must register for the Juice Conference prior to applying for the pitch contest.
