Who's Eligible

Open to University of Iowa faculty, staff, and graduate students, as well as start-up companies whose principal place of business is at the UI Research Park.

Important Dates

Intent to Compete forms are due on February 6, 2012. Applications and business plans must be submitted by March 2, 2012. The final competition will take place on March 30, 2012.

Competition Prizes

Participants will compete for $56,000 in total cash prizes.

Other Info

The spirit of the contest is that it is both an educational experience and a potential launch pad for those who wish to start a business or are currently in the process of starting a business.
