- Who's Eligible
- To be eligible, the proposed business plan must project that over 50% of the business’s revenue will come from outside of Wichita, Archer, and Clay counties (Texas) and that it must create at least 3 new jobs.Also, firms must agree to headquarter and operate primarily from within Wichita Falls, Texas for a period of at least 3 years after first receiving any prize money.
- Important Dates
Executive summaries are due by November 15, 2010. Competitors must submit final business plans by February 21, 2011, and final presentations will take place on April 6, 2011.
- Competition Prizes
Prizes for the 2011 competition are yet to be announced. Last year, $20,000 in cash and professional services was given to the winning team.
- Other Info
This competition offers several types of orientation sessions and business plan workshops for participants. While not mandatory, attendance is strongly encouraged.
