This competition is by invitation only. All team members must be either a current student or have been enrolled at the sponsoring university sometime during the academic year preceding the global competition. At least one member of the team must be currently enrolled or have a degree in engineering, science, pharmacy, medicine, or other technology discipline.
- Important Dates
First round business plan summary submissions are due by October 3, 2011. Second round business reports are due by October 27, 2011. The Championship Round of competition will take place on November 19, 2011, in Stockholm, Sweden.
- Competition Prizes
Championship rounds consist of three themed tracks.
In each track, 1st place team will receive $10,000, 2nd place will receive $5,000, and 3rd place will receive $2,500.
- Other Info
In 2011, I2P® Global will take place outside of Texas for the first time. In total, 18 teams will be competing in 3 parallel championships: ICT, Energy and Bio-Life Sciences. In each team, students will have created new value based on emerging technology.
