- This competition is by invitation only. All team members must be either a current student or have been enrolled at the sponsoring university sometime during the academic year preceding the global competition. At least one member of the team must be currently enrolled or have a degree in engineering, science, pharmacy, medicine, or other technology discipline.
- Important Dates
First round submissions are due by September 28, 2010. Championship rounds take place on November 6, 2010 in Austin, Texas.
- Competition Prizes
Championship rounds consist of three themed tracks. In each track, 1st place team will receive $10,000, 2nd place will receive $5,000, and 3rd place will receive $2,500.

This year the I2P® Global Competition will feature three stages: feedback rounds, themed championship rounds, and a technology showcase and networking session.
