- Who's Eligible
Student teams have to be selected by their university to participate in the state competition. All eight Kentucky State Universities participate in the competition.There are graduate and undergraduate tracks in both the business concept and business plan categories.
- Important Dates
Intent to compete forms are due on February 7, 2011. Written business plan entries are due on April 11, 2011. Finalist teams will present to the judges on April 23, 2011.
- Competition Prizes
Cash prizes in the competition are scaled to provide larger rewards for business concepts and business plans that are judged as being the most complete and ready for the real world marketplace. Prizes will be based on a $100,000 prize pool, and will be divided among 4 tracks: Graduate Business plans, Undergraduate Business Plans, Graduate Business Concepts, and Undergraduate Concepts.

Teams must participate in all three events (written presentation, elevator pitch/table-top exhibition, and oral presentation) to qualify for prizes and awards.
