Who's Eligible

Open to graduate students. Teams with a minority of undergraduate students may also compete. 

The competition focuses on new independent ventures in the seed, start-up, or early-growth stages. 

Important Dates

The deadline to register for this competition is November 18, 2011. The final round presentations will take place at the University of Western Ontario on January 27-28, 2012. Other dates will be announced as the competition progresses. 

Competition Prizes

The winning team will receive a Grand Prize of $20,000, as well as automatic entry into the Venture Labs Investment Competition to compete for over $100,000 in awards. 

Other Info

The competition offers students an opportunity to present innovative business plans to potential investors, while providing investors with an advance look at up-and-coming entrepreneurs and new ventures.
