- Who's Eligible
- All teams must consist of at least 1 part-time or full-time student registered for the 2010-2011 year. Alternatively, students are eligible that have graduated in the year prior to the competition, from a Northern Alberta academic institution. The business plan must represent an innovative technology or an innovative application of technology.
- Important Dates
The last day to register for the competition is December 3, 2010. Business plans must be submitted by December 10, 2010. The top six finalists will be notified on January 10, 2010, and will give final presentations to a panel of judges on January 22, 2011.
- Competition Prizes
1st place winner receives $6,000. Two runners-up will each receive $2,000.
The top three finalists will also be able to enter the TEC VenturePrize Provincial Student Business Plan Competition for a chance to win an additional $10,000 in cash and prizes.
