Who's Eligible

Each team must have at least one member who is a HBS alumnus/a. This member must be a substantive member of the founding team.

Participating teams must have less than $2,000,000 in revenues. 

Teams must enter via their local regional HBS alumni hub. Each hub has its own deadlines. 

Important Dates

Registration deadlines for the local competitions will take place in Early February. Final plans must be submitted by February 29, 2012. The winners of each regional contest will be named on March 15, 2012. Regional winners will participate in the contest finals, held at the Harvard Business School on April 23-24, 2012. 

Competition Prizes

Grand prize: $50,000

Second prize: $25,000

All finalist teams will receive mentoring from faculty and the HBS Angels Alumni Association. 

Other Info

While on campus, finalists will participate in educational, mentoring, media, and networking sessions, and the winners will present their plans at a School-wide awards ceremony on April 24, in conjunction with the Student Business Plan Contest.
