- Open to individuals and teams. One core team member, however, must be a current Asian/Asian American student, alumnus, faculty member or staff member of any Harvard University school. There is no entry fee, except for presenting finalists, who must register and pay a fee to attend the HAAAA Summit.
- Important Dates
Entry deadline is September 20, 2010. The live pitch finals take place on October 16, 2010 during the Harvard Asian American Alumni Summit held in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
- Competition Prizes
Three $2500 cash awards for Creativity,Innovation, and Change, plus donated prizes, professional services, and one-on-one meetings with industry leaders.
- Other Info
While not a business plan competition, entrants are expected to demonstrate concrete thought and persuasive skills. The Elevate Pitch Competition’s mission is to identify Harvard’s next great business entrepreneurs, social enterprise visionaries, and creative geniuses in the art, entertainment and design fields. Submissions must be original, innovative, fundable and in keeping with the spirit of the event and the Summit that hosts it.
