Who's Eligible

Open to all Grand Valley State University Graduate & Undergraduate students. Businesses can be for-profit, non-profit, or social enterprise - but must be in a pre-revenue stage.

Important Dates

Registration materials and executive summaries are due on November 21, 2011. The top ten teams chosen to advance must submit a full business plan on February 17, 2012. The top seven teams will be notified on March 2, 2012, and will present their business plans on March 29, 2012.

Competition Prizes

1st place: $5,000
2nd place: $3,000
3rd place: $1,500
Social Media "Buzz" Award: $500

Other Info

Along with promoting business growth, this competition also acts as a great resource for students to network with surrounding local businesses, and gain personal feedback from some of West Michigan's top entrepreneurs.
