Who's Eligible
The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards welcomes nominations from any country around the globe. 

The student must be an undergraduate student at a recognized university or college and enrolled in school at the time of application. The student must be the owner, founder or controlling shareholder of their company and principally responsible for its operation. The student’s company must have been in business for at least the past six consecutive months, and the business must be a for-profit business.

Important Dates

Regional competitions take place all over the world from April to November of 2010. Regional winners advance to the Global Finals, which take place on November 17-19, 2010, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Competition Prizes

The Global Finals Competition awards a $10,000 cash prize to the winner. Other official prize amounts have not yet been announced, but last year's competitors received more than $150,000 in total prizes.

Other Info

Students must either nominate themselves or be nominated in order to enter the competition. Nominees will either compete in a regional competition if they are located close enough, or will be judged virtually via teleconference. The first place winner of each regional competition will be invited to the Global Finals Competition.
