The Business School at Georgia Tech
- Who's Eligible
Open to all Georgia Tech students and alumni. Non-students may participate in planning the venture, but the Georgia Tech members must be the ones to present the venture plan in the competition.
Business plans should have a significant technology component. They can be service or product-based.
- Important Dates
Registration for the business plan competition closes on February 20, 2012; Intent to Compete forms must be submitted by then. Written business plans are due on February 24, 2012. A preliminary presentation round will take place on March 2, 2012, after which the competition finalists will be selected. The final round of competition will take place on March 9, 2012.
- Competition Prizes
- 1st place: $10,000
- 2nd place: $3,000
- 3rd place: $2,000
- 4th & 5th place: $500 each
- Most Fundable: $35,000 service package
Most Innovative Technology: $10,000 service package
5 Specialty Awards will also be given out.

A series of 8 business plan competition workshops will be held at Georgia Tech for all participants.
