Who's Eligible

Open to individuals or teams of up to three people. At least one member of each team must be a currently-enrolled George Washington student or in a sanctioned high school program from the greater Washington DC area.

Important Dates

Online entries and executive summaries must be submitted by November 1, 2011. Semi-final and final rounds of elevator pitches will take place on November 12, 2011.

Competition Prizes

In both the undergraduate and graduate categories:

1st place: $2,000
2nd place: $1,500
3rd place: $1,000

In the high school category:

1st place: $750
2nd place: $500
3rd place: $250

Other Info

The Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence (CFEE) will help those individuals with strong proposals expand and refine their ideas into solid business plans to compete in the GW Business Plan Competition in the spring of 2012 where the first place winner receives $25,000 and "in-kind" prizes.
