Florida Atlantic University; Adams Center for Entrepreneurship

Teams can compete in one of two categories:

The FAU Student Track must consist solely of Florida Atlantic University Students.

The Entrepreneur Track can be made up of FAU alumni, faculty, and non-FAU students, as well as members of the business community.

Teams must register and submit a business concept by February 19, 2012. Full business plans are due on March 18, 2012. Finalist teams in both categories will be invited to the final event on April 13, 2012 to present to the panel of judges. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on the same day.

1st place will receive a $30,000 cash prize, and a $20,000 in-kind service prize package.

2nd place will receive a $20,000 cash prize, and a $10,000 in-kind service prize package.

3rd place will receive a $20,000 cash prize, and a $5,000 in-kind service prize package.

Teams participating in the competition have the opportunity to meet and network with experienced venture capital principals, early stage angel investors, successful entrepreneurs, and senior business leaders who will serve as judges for the competition.
