Each team must represent a U.S. based university, college, community college, or technical institute. 50% of the members on each team must be currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students. All entries must be business plans for scalable ventures in the sports industry, which includes 16 categories that can be viewed on the competition's website.
- Important Dates
All entries must be submitted online by September 15, 2011. Those teams selected as semi-finalists must submit a business plan by October 14, 2011. Finalists will present to the judges on October 21, 2011.
- Competition Prizes
First place: $20,000 cash award
Second place: $10,000 cash award
Third place: $3,500 cash award
Fourth place: $1,500 cash award
