- Who's Eligible
Open to all faculty-sponsored full and part-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at any of Nevada's universities or colleges.
Business plans must be for a seed, start-up or early stage venture.
- Important Dates
Teams must submit an intent to compete by February 22, 2012. Business plans must be submitted by March 21, 2012. Finalists will be announced on April 4, 2012, and will partake in presentation and elevator pitch coaching before presenting to the judges on April 17, 2012. Winners will be announced at an awards dinner on April 18, 2012.
- Competition Prizes
Separate prizes will be given out in both the graduate and undergraduate divisions:
1st place: $25,000
2nd place: $15,000
3rd place: $10,000
A $10,000 Lt. Governor's Award will be presented to the business that best employs clean or renewable energy technologies.
- Other Info
This competition is one of three state-wide competitions in Arkansas, Nevada, and Oklahoma, all of which lead up to the Tri-State Donald W. Reynolds Award.
