- Who's Eligible
Open to all faculty-sponsored, full-time and part-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at any of Arkansas’s two or four year universities or colleges.
The business plan must be for a seed, start-up or early stage venture.- Important Dates
Intent to Compete forms are due on February 4, 2011. Written business plans must be submitted by February 17, 2011. Finalists will give oral presentations to the judges during the final round of competition on April 7-8, 2011, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Winners will be announced at the awards luncheon on April 20, 2011.
- Competition Prizes
First place winners in each division (Undergraduate and Graduate) receive $20,000, second place finishers receive $10,000, and third place finishers receive $5,000. Prizes of $5,000 each are also awarded for Most Innovative and for Best Agriculture in each division.
- Other Info
The top two Arkansas teams in both the undergraduate and graduate divisions advance to the Tri-State Competition in Las Vegas to compete against Oklahoma and Nevada for a share of $90,000.
