- Who's Eligible
- Open to all graduate and undergraduate students at the University of Chicago. Teams must have at least one member who is a current student at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
- Important Dates
Students must submit feasibility summaries for their ventures by January 7, 2011. Full business plans are due on April 29, 2011, and selected finalists will present their ventures at the competition Finals on May 26, 2011.
- Competition Prizes
A cash prize totaling at least $50,000, along with any additional prizes, is divided among the top teams as deemed by the judging panel.
- Other Info
In early February, teams submit feasibility summaries about their proposed venture. Approximately 30 teams are selected to advance to the classroom phase, where students develop their ideas into viable businesses students receive instructor guidance and critique from venture capitalists, private investors, and established entrepreneurs. Eight to ten teams are then selected to present at the day-long finals competition in May, before a world-class panel of investors and entrepreneurs.
