Who's Eligible

Open to applicants 18 or older

Proposed business must be located in a rural area of the State of Nebraska or be willing to relocate. This excludes the Lincoln and Omaha Metropolitan Statistical Areas. 

Important Dates

The deadline for submissions to the competition is March 11, 2012. The final five business plans will be presented on March 28, 2012. 

Competition Prizes

First place: $10,000 prize

2nd place: $3,000 prize

3rd place: $500 prize

Three help sessions will be offered to those looking for additional guidance in the writing of their business plan and the preparation of their presentations.
