- Who's Eligible
At teams must have at least one Brigham Young University graduate or undergraduate student. Non-students may be members of the team, but only BYU students can present the plan in the competition.
- Important Dates
All teams must submit business plans by March 1, 2012. Finalists will be notified on March 23, 2012, and will present their business plans at the final event on March 30, 2012.
- Competition Prizes
1st place: $50,000
2nd place: $30,000
3rd place: $20,000
4th - 8th place: $1,000 each
Prizes will also be awarded to high achievers in Tech, Home-based, Global, and Founders Choice categories.
- Other Info
The BYU Busines Plan Competition sponsors multiple events during the academic year, including workshops, an Idea Pitch competition, and a Speed Pitch competition. All of these events help to prepare teams to compete in the business plan competition.
