Who's Eligible

Open to all current full and part time graduate and undergraduate students of Boston University. Alumni are also eligible to compete. While teams may include members not affiliated with BU, at least one member of each team must be a student or alumni.

Important Dates

Applications and executive summaries are due on December 16, 2011. Finalists will be announced on February 13, 2012, following presentations by semi-finalist teams. All finalists will be required to submit full business plans on March 12, 2012. Final presentations will take place at the Boston University School of Management on April 4, 2012.

Competition Prizes

1st place: $7,500 cash prize

2nd place: $4,000 cash prize

3rd place: $1,000 cash prize

Finalists will receive in-kind support prizes totaling $10,000 in value. 

Other Info

All finalists will receive mentoring from start-up veterans and introductions to ITEC’s networks that can provide the capital and hands-on leadership required to bring their ideas to fruition.
