This Bard Center Business Plan Competition is for early stage companies. One of a team's members must be directly affiliated with the University of Colorado in some capacity.The business must not have received Angel or Venture Capital funding to date.
- Important Dates
Teams must submit a registration form and participant waiver agreement by March 25, 2011. Full business plans are due on April 29, 2011. The top six teams will present their plans at the final business plan competition on June 16, 2011.
- Competition Prizes
Historically, cash prizes range between $10,000 and $1,000 for first through sixth places, with additional awards in special categories. In-kind services are also awarded.
- Other Info
The Bard Center Business Plan Competition is one of the foremost events for early stage companies in Colorado. The primary purpose of the competition is to provide these early stage ventures with an opportunity to test their ideas and receive meaningful feedback on their business plans.
