Who's Eligible
The startup must be a legally existing company and have a license or option-to-license with a research institution (namely a university, research hospital, research institute, government laboratory), and the obligated technology must comprise an integral part of the startup’s business focus. 

The business must have a focus in the health care industry. 
Important Dates

Competitors must submit an executive summary by December 1, 2010. A review committee will select six finalists, who will be invited to present their business plans at the AUTM Annual Meeting on March 1, 2011, in Las Vegas.

Competition Prizes

The winner will receive a $10,000 cash prize.

Other Info

Each finalist will receive reimbursement from AUTM of up to $1,000 for travel expenses and hotel at Caesars Palace.
