Who's Eligible

Open to start-ups located in any of 22 eligible countries (Americas, Europe, Asia) that are currently using or are in the process of using Amazon Web Services. Businesses must not have generated more than $10 million in gross annual revenues or outside funding.

Important Dates

The entry period begins on August 1, 2011 and ends on October 2, 2011. Finalist will be notified by early November 2011, and the grand prize winner will be announced in December 2011

Competition Prizes

One global winner will receive $50,000 in cash, and $50,000 in AWS credits, along with other in-kind services.

Six global finalists will each receive $10,000 in AWS credits, media coverage, and roundtrip airfare to the final judging round and award ceremony in Silicon Valley, USA. 

15 Regional semi-finalists will each receive $2,500 in AWS credits, as well as media coverage.
