Who's Eligible

Open to all students at Penn State University. Teams must each have at least one member who is enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences. The business plan to be submitted must address a need in the agricultural sciences. 

Important Dates

All participating teams must register by September 9, 2011. Final team Powerpoint presentations are due on November 4, 2011. Finalists will be notified on November 11, 2011, and will present their business plans to the judges on November 14, 2011. An awards ceremony will follow the presentations. 

Competition Prizes

The first place team will receive a $5,000 cash prize. The second place team will receive a $1,000 prize. The top three teams will also receive other non-cash prizes. 

Other Info

Judges for this business plan competition will consist of faculty and staff from Penn State, as well as other members of Pennsylvania's business community.
