Who's Eligible

Open to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at a Michigan public or private university or college. Students must be enrolled for at least 2 classes for the fall 2011 semester. 

Important Dates

Initial one-page business idea applications are due on September 30, 2011. Second-round participants must submit a 3-minute YouTube video by October 31, 2011. Finalists will deliver 10-minute presentations on November 16 & 17, 2011. Finalists will be announced at the Awards Gala on November 17.

Competition Prizes

Grand Prize: $25,000

First Runner Up: $15,000

Second Runner Up: $10,000

Other Info

Licensed technologies from universities and research labs are encouraged assuming they have not been commercialized previously.
