- University students. While undergraduate students are welcome to participate, this competition is geared mostly toward graduate students, and at least one graduate student must be part of every team.
- Important Dates
All business plan executive summaries should be submitted via younoodle by March 1, 2010. After a semi-finalist round, finals of the competition will be held on April 9 & 10, 2010.
- Competition Prizes
Prizes for the winner include up to $40,000 in cash and in-kind services, plus a ride for two on the Zero Gravity Corporation aircraft, which simulates the weightless experience of an astronaut. The grand champion team is also invited to the Global Moot Corp Competition, which is a prestigious, invite-only event.

This business plan competition is unique because it encourages students of many disciplines – business, engineering, and science – to collaborate on one project. The focus of the competition is on space-derived technologies and how they can be applied to products and services here on Earth, which also makes it one-of-a-kind.
