3. archaic : to effect a change in

This competition is open to any student with a creative idea that has the potential to make change. Innovative social, technical, product and process ideas are all welcome. If you think there is a better way and you have something to offer this is your opportunity to “Walk the talk.”

The Provincial Finalists Competition will be held in Halifax at the Westin Hotel on February 23 from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. In addition to the student pitches there will be interesting presentations throughout the day, open to all interested students (competitors or not). Lunch and refreshments will be served followed by a reception from 5pm – 6pm and banquet from 6pm – 8pm.

There are two streams: one for Innovation (ideas that are related to the advance or emergence of a new field), and one for Social Enterprise (ideas that address a social, environmental or cultural issue).

Eligibility

To be eligible for the provincial competition you must be nominated by your university or college.
