2013 Bard Center for Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition

The Bard Center Business Plan Competition is one of the foremost events for early stage companies in Colorado. The first Bard Center Business Plan Competition was held in 2002 and the event has been growing ever since. It seeks to promote the development of high-caliber business plans, recognize the most outstanding plans with more than $50,000 in cash and in-kind awards from area businesses, and encourage the creation of new businesses. 

During the past 12 years, the competition has spawned hundreds of business plans. Finalists and non-finalists alike have launched their ideas and started successful ventures. This year the competition will culminate on June 18, 2013 at the Four Seasons Hotel where finalists will present their proposals to a panel of judges and community members. 

More than $50,000 in cash and in-kind awards:
First Place Winner: $10,000
Second Place Winner: $5,000
Third Place Winner: $2,500
2-4 Finalists: $1,000
